  1. Past hour
  2. Jack's bucks always start as 6 pointers.
  3. You gotta start somewhere. Even those zone 5 monsters start as nubs.
  4. Nice Rusty bottoms . Last three trips up here we actually have had a bunch of new shells . Been seeing a lot of big females . Commercial guys been hitting them hard over a month now . wish Nj would change the law as Maryland did that all females had to be returned . .
  5. New bridge over the Toms River at the NJ Forestry Center in Jackson. it’s a dirt road that connects Rt 527 and Don Connor Blvd. It’s rarely traveled due to it being a bumpy dirt road. It used to be a trout stocking location but bridge workers say they have seen the trout truck come through as there is no access to the river. I fished this bridge for years and never really noticed it needed repairs….I actually remember it being pretty well constructed. My first thoughts are….unless I’m missing something….why are they wasting money on this project whereas there are other projects that need more attention?? Better yet….help some veterans in need with the money instead of a dumb ass bridge on a dirt road!! And how much is this costing?? If it was really needed…might as well just close off the dirt road and spend the money elsewhere. Maybe an investigative reporter would be interested in “what are we doing here!”
  6. Today
  7. Blackwood lake has plenty of them. Fish the spillway.
  8. Just a lone hen walking around the food plot Haven’t hear anything
  9. Where is this Zone 23 you speak of? And there are Jakes behind every tree this year, there’s not even remotely a shortage of them.
  10. Out in New York. Heard a good 5. Just sitting now. Cynthia is a good 1/4 mile off and tucked in another section of open Hardwoods.
  11. I bet you will hear them towards 9am.
  12. The Title should say , Nubs in Velvet.
  13. Me and a friend tried a few times... never found them. We are determined to get into them one day, but we can never find time to just go out and target them! We fish in and around Gloucester County. I heard what @Buckeyes11 says - any tributary coming off the river should have them. Look for spots on the creeks coming off the Delaware River. That's what I'm told anyway
  14. Had 2 come in this morning and took a clear shot at 30yds and whiffed Anybody have thoughts on how long I should wait before going after them again? They are typically roosted in the same general area but I only have ~20 acres to hunt them on
  15. I’m at work, so I’ll be living vicariously through you guys today… Best of luck, make the shot count if you get the opportunity

  18. I’m in Should have gone fluking
  19. Now you’re talking Nice bird congrats!
  20. Nice bird. Congrats. Nothing like the drumming, spitting, and gobbling when it all comes together.
  21. Lol, I missed but my son hit it. At every Rinehart it is a tradition for us to take a shot at the Sasquatch from the farthest stake. For the last two R100s my son has hit the Sasquatch and I missed. It was a good way to end the course.
  22. All settled in. Best of luck to everyone out
