You all clearly are not in the computer science/software engineering field "Dark Mode" is a thing. Yes, it is to help be easier on the eyes, but it doesn't force you to lower brightness (which often makes it harder to read, whereas "dark mode" done right still has good contrast). It's a feature even our phones have now. Some browsers have it (which I probably should just use, but I don't want all the websites I browse to be in dark mode). I'm involved in a project myself where we just introduced "Dark Mode" setting last year. But it is definitely a feature some websites are incorporating (Wikipedia, for example, is in the process of adding it). Hence, I would like NJWW to get with the times

Is there a dark mode setting? Would be nice so we can pass the time and read the site while waiting in the dark before the animals wake up and the bright white screen doesn't wake them up prematurely and give our location away

Me Toooooo. It's the best in my slug gun when I tried then all years ago. Have some left. Now each deer season I don't "sight In" . I just aim & shot when the time comes. With current pricing buying 3 boxes of "The new STUFF " will cost a small penny. Reloading slugs is in my future.

Use to just start somewhere I had permission then roam from field to field. If a farmer came out or happen to drive by and saw you had a rifle he would just wave and drive on. I usually didn't know them and they didn't know me, they just want them gone. The few that did stop to talk would usually tell me I had permission to come back. Within a week or so all the farmers knew me cause they would start calling each other and ask who I was and the one farmer I had permission from would tell them he's good to go. Never once an issue. Over time as I got to know the farmers and exchange numbers, I started getting calls from them every spring letting me know when the hogs were out. I was good for 300 +/- hogs a year. PS- Not promoting trespassing, but under the circumstances it's what I call "a grey are"
