    Checked a camera yesterday that's watching active scrapes. Had hens and a couple toms walking through the scrapes at least a dozen times since the 6th. And a couple fox, bobcat. Haven't had a turkey on camera before this month. They must of come to hide from all you hunters. Good luck everyone, I'm going trout fishing.

    Silent, saw one fly down, couldn't tell the sex...once on the ground started walking away gave a few soft yelps no reply.. nothing heard at all in the distance

    Dont feel bad three of us went yesterday late afternoon, hit two spot on the SBR, the one spot we walked down in which always has fish, I had one bite which I caught and not another bite between us

    I confirm with one shot every season just to make sure things are still dialed. I use 7s hand loads of TSS (9s if I’m outta state). So that gets pricey, hence the one shot. Knock on wood, I haven’t had to resight in yet. I can shoot to 60 with my set ups, but generally keep it in the 45 yard range. My bird opening day was at 45 yards when he started to slip off.

    Indeed! I am getting ready here at 3:17am. Drive from NY to NJ for my 7th day of Hunting so far. Same discipline as training in Martial Arts. You go 4 nights a week and maybe after 4 1/2 years- you will Attain Black Belt. Leaving in 10 minutes.
