  2. Monday afternoon Rob and I hit the river . lots of nice roe . still fresh and not spawned out
  3. Sunday was sea bass Tracey and I ran out for a few hours in the afternoon jig bite was ridiculous for 3 hours non stop fish .
  4. Saturday headed to a local Connecticut lake with Rob to fish for crappie and bass crappie bite was super boating approx 140 through the day bass bite was slower but still had a pick of both bronze and green backs

  14. I rent a cabin at "Quimby Country" in Averill, VT. It's a summer vacation spot with 19 cabins. They end their season every year with a Cast & Blast weekend over the Columbus Day weekend which starts on Friday with dinner in their lodge and ends on Monday. This year that is October 11th through the 14th. For the past several years, I've tacked on several days in advance of the Weekend event for a total stay of 7 to 10 days of hunting.

  16. Need a gunsmith but might need one that can make parts. I have my grandfather's old revolver and would like to restore it. It's not worth much but the sentimental value is priceless.

The meeting of the Board of Directors followed the 153rd NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits where over 72,000 NRA members filled the halls of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center to check out the latest firearms, gear, and accessories from close to 700 exhibitors.   22. This is our first year trying this. We have big interest right now from the NY site, but we all know how these things go. If we fill up for the October ‘24 season, maybe next year we do “Adopt a Piney” or “Take a Porkroller bear hunting” or something along those lines.
