  1. Past hour
  2. Sitting with a wallet turning your hips is a definite road to back pain I also don’t ever have my wallet in my pocket while sitting . .
  3. Today
  4. I don't mind the boars but the mothers with cubs are a nuisance.
  5. Did your wallet look like this? LOL
  6. I just wipe off with a damp rag and now and then use a duster. No problems as I have mounts for over 30 years
  7. This is the reason we have the bear hunt. Need to control the numbers
  8. Just have your wife put your socks on for you. after all you been bringing dinner home [ turkey ]
  9. Needs a steel collar in the winter
  10. Looking for dinner just like you.
  11. It sucks, I've been there. Back in my 30s I had frequent back and neck problems that were debilitating at times. One day at the chiropractor the doctor told me to take my wallet out of my back pocket. That one simple thing and I have not had a single back or neck issue in 30 years.

  13. I was thinking about my first compound bow I started hunting with. but my first bow was actually a 20 lbs recurve Ben Pearson kit my dad got me for Xmas from butts n bows when I was in first grade. I got a browning mite from meltzers sidewalk sale when I was just starting 4th grade and sept of 6 grade I got a used bear polor ltd. That was 1983. I was 11 3/4 Oct 7 th of that year I got my lic. I remember it was like 11 at night and we just left the store. Lenny sold me my first lic. My first day hunting was the next morning. Oct 8. 1983. Omg time flies.
  14. Len looks like a young Burt renolds lol it’s ashame the younger generation didn’t see his place. but nothing like that operation would exist today The deer door the pics on the sidewalk Carrying bows into the shop Before I was old enough to drive We rode our bikes their ( almost 4 miles ) Our bows were tied to our backs with a rope We made a make shift sling Today the cops would have us locked up a block from home Timing is everything
  15. Nice Nick! My son and I were on the surf yesterday and we caught a bunch of bass to 30# and also a dozen big Gators.
  16. Brings back lots of good memories. I was in that shop a few times a week in the early 80’s. I hope Len is well.
  17. Most definitely but, as my doctor says, what’s the alternative.
  18. Bunker is no where near as plentiful as past Springs.
  19. Have only been out twice with perfect conditions and skunked. Has been an abysmal spring in the bay in comparison to many many years before talking to some others. Something needs to change quick or it’s going to be over before we know it and hope for a good fall run.
  20. The Cap has some good advice there. Lots of times it could be in the legs. You'd be surprised. Not giving medical advice here nor dismissing anything (as I left my medical degree in the locker room when I retired) but it's a phenomenal percentage of people that have back issues at one time or another. 8 in 10 Americans will experience back pain in their lifetime. Stretching (the right way) is a great start to the day. Think about this........you've been turkey hunting and probably doing more walking than you're used to with maybe more on your back or shoulders than normal and maybe sitting on the ground in an awkward position for long periods of time? Maybe sitting on the cold, damp ground? All pretty unusual. I hear you. Blew my back out once just sneezing. Try the stretching, especially in the legs/hamstrings. If I blow my back out then the first place I look is somewhere in the legs and invariably there will be a knot there or even way down to the calf. Good luck.
  21. bucky

The easterly winds are starting to suck as well
