Got stuck late in Cleveland last night, my work schedule has been a bear the last several weeks. In any event, got home around 2am, got up at 5am this morning and opted to stay home and have breakfast with the family so I skipped the event today. I kind of regretted it until my daughter woke up to the smell of pancakes in the house and it was all good. I haven’t missed a beat despite my travel schedule. Been improvising a lot at the hotel gyms, or finding parks when I am away. Scale and metrics are steady state at the moment, which is fine by me. I feel fit, healthy and I am enjoying a pain free existence; a far cry from this time last year. I was able to sneak in some hot yoga today and I am feeling good. I’ll run tomorrow, more yoga on Sunday and next week should be calm with only one day away. Just maintaining at this point, thinking about long term plans that are sustainable and that will continue to keep me healthy. @Northjerseyoutdoorsman good luck this weekend Spartan! Am I going to see you in Philly on the 19th? I can’t remember if you were running that one or not.

That’s a biggun. But bear trees are very common. As others said, they use them to mark territory and let other bears know who is around. Here’s the same tree being rubbed and visited by two bears. I have lots of similar pix, but not on this phone.

How did u do with the bass? Waiting for them to really turn on which could happen any day w warm temps forecast.

Finally roosted one last night and I was covered up in ‘em all morning…safety off…saw a head…but at the crest of a hill….know your target and what’s beyond!! yesterday didn’t hear a peep all day! Hit the farm ponds for some well needed R & R!
