I just read Bear kills one Dog injured a second in Sparta NJ ,By the high school .

I would kit blame anyone. Shit happens.

I’m aware nj has a bear problem. But with no details of the situation I’m guessing the bear did what the bear had to do with a dog going after it. Sucks for the owners of the dog but like mentioned above if you live in bear country you have to be aware of your surroundings.

Hunters must obtain permission to enter posted land and agricultural land to recover deer. Hunters and trappers may not enter unposted land after having been forbidden to trespass by the owner, lessee or occupant either by verbal notice or when the land has been conspicuously posted with intervisible signs displayed not fewer than ten to a mile along the exterior boundaries and at all roads, trails and rights-of-way entering such land. If a hunter or trapper is charged with trespass, they must provide documentation of written permission in court for their defense.

Blame the dog owners ! If you have bears going through your back yard . you always have to be on guard with your children and pets.

Just imagine where you would be without the help of all the know it all, professional amateurs that have an answer for everything and probably can’t catch fish or harvest deer.

Hunts without a license, shoots a guy (who I'm 100% sure did not look at all like a turkey), and fails to help the guy he shot... and, oh, he's a felon and shouldn't have had a gun to begin with. You would think - if you are hunting without a license, and a felon where you would know you are not allowed to possess a firearm, you would think you would be triple-careful NOT TO SHOOT SOMEBODY. Some people are just idiots. They caught the guy, at least. Hope he goes to jail for a very long time.
