The Population has gone up some from my Scouting and my 6 straight days out there so far. If you are Hunting Public- hopefully any Gobbler you hear will not Gobble too much. Because the Hunters will be a coming. Luck out there- blackbeltbill.

Looks good. We eat a lot of stuffed peppers. Imo it's easier to brown the meat in a pan before stuffing into the pepper.

I have a lot of hours in Berkshire valley they got turkey but they had for the hills. Everything there heads for the hills top of the mountains of the military base. They no dummies when you come in from lower the road.from blue rd parking .. Hang in there with farney

we prob bumped em with our awful calling abilities. could that most likely been the case? went to berkshire and farney. saw a black bear with its cub which was sick but no turkey.

We had an AWESOME first week of the 2024 turkey season!!! Chris Jr. shot a 20 pounder on Monday morning at around 11:30 🕦 His Tom had a 10 inch beard and was harvested at a last hoorah spot near home before the noon deadline… He was by himself as I headed to work. He said the whole hunt took less than 20 minutes & that his swinger was hot. Then on Tuesday, one of our best turkey hunting buddies Billy shot a slob 24 pounder gobbler with Chris Jr. by his side. That Eastern had a 10 1/2 inch beard. A real trophy! I finally scored on Thursday morning after a 12 minute hunt at one of my honey 🍯 holes. My Tom was gobbling as I was getting out of my car. A few yelps and some soft purring by my son with the slate brought him right in. The Mossberg 20 gauge thundered and hit its mark at 22 yards… My bird was 21lbs with a 9 1/2 inch paint brush beard!
