Btw…why havnt we seen geese #s go down due to predators? Shud be easy pickings for them…& they can leave the poults alone.

Covered a lot of ground in Zone 14 as well…& it’s down too! I am only seeing 2 goslings per goose pair also…I think they are supposed to have more. Maybe there’s some correlation to it if geese can’t produce as many offspring as well.

If using air , be careful not to use to much pressure ! This could be damaging to hair and feathers patterns ! Use a brush on hair to keep hair for looking disheveled , on birds ( like Jay said ) use old makeup brush and brush with the feathers , head to tail or ass end , not to mess up patterns . Dont use windex on eyes it can disolve certain paints or finishes that might have been used , use a lightly dampend cloth or Q tip. I find that spraying Pledge will make dust stick to hair & feathers , thats for furniture ! Fish , Ive always use lightly damp cloth ( h20) . Best addvise is consult your taxidermist because they all use different finish paints , waxes , clays, & epoxy on your mounts !

That was down played by the narrative of they were warned and throwing rocks at the bear and claims that he fell from the rock wall and was already seriously injured or deceased when the bear ate him. Also there was no video of a bear chasing him and attacking released.

I will say it is rare for these encounters and probably less that 5%. So 3 bad ones out of 50 the rest blew out fast. One big boar did not like us in his territory and same bear ripped down and destroyed 3 cams within a mile and a groundblind and treestand.

They are wild animals, you just never know. I have been followed and mock charged and put in check a few times. Just recently me and hunting buddy locked eyes with a big boar and both yelled screamed to warn him and he just kept coming closing distance and we had a dog with us. He slowly veered after i banged the treestand with an axe but he had closed in to about 40 yards A young bear followed me for a mile until i hit railroad tracks. Not good feeling to get followed. I had screaming cubs while scouting a swamp and mom running at me and snapping. You just never know. These encounters werr all deep in woods.
