  2. It sucks being on the bottom of the food chain.
  3. Did it have a hook in it? I pulled one into the kayak last week at least that big and it flopped right out over the other side, breaking the line as it hit the water. Good eating when they are that big. Wish they would only stock 16" or bigger.
  4. Today
  5. I'm happy to see the predator regs change. I know it was a deer survey but I wrote in the notes on one of the last questions about the predator regs needing fixed. The ammo restrictions are nonsense from daylight to dark .. glad they changed it. For a state that we all worry will have no hunting one day, I'm happy to see it going in the other direction.. In the last 20 years hunter numbers have declined, but in turn seasons got longer ( too long) bag limits got larger (too large). We've seen sunday hunting and crossbows introduced, baiting for deer. bear hunting became legal again. Night time predator season. Rifles allowed for Predators. And now they are allowing more trapping bag limits and trap options. It's a good thing, as long as the hunters have self control to not over harvest just because we can legally do so. Leave some for seed. Pay attention to the numbers of animals you are seeing and on those years where they are thin- give up after you harvest your 1 for the season. Same goes for turkey season. I wish they would close spring season for a few yrs to see if it helps. I see flocks of hens and no gobblers around to breed them. Yearly I see a dozen hens in my yard in the spring/ summer and only 2-4 polts with them. Not sure if they got killed or never laid eggs. 7 buck tags isn't changing a thing for 99.9% of us. 6 or 7- same difference at that point.
  6. I respect you for that what makes you 🤠
  7. well when you have it spend it
  8. Totally agree guess he likes wasting his money! His prerogative.
  9. Had a small bear come solo through the yard the other evening. Assuming mom kicked him out
  10. Bout time they approved 410 for turkey…w TSS it’s a good tool for youth and female hunters
  11. I knew when I attended the meeting and listened to Stanko it was already a done deal. They are time deaf and ignorant and continue to prove it’s only about revenue and nothing else
  12. per all these pictures today was a great bear sighting day
  13. Them are some good size jakes the 3 I let go last week were half that size
