    Reminds me of a guy I knew who. He cooked doe udder. Asked how it tasted, he said udderly delicious. Turkey testes has to beat that.

    I heard about gizzard stones from a friend and decided to keep them this season from the Osceola and the Easterns I shot. Most people find it odd. LOL

    This is a new one to me LOL Never heard of that. I'm all about eating what I kill ... Merganser? Sure, I tried it. Crow, yes. But turkey balls is where I draw the line. Well, that and whatever it is that @JHbowhunter constantly harasses us with. If you are worried about it, like others say, dump it in the woods and feed the carrion eaters; they will appreciate it.

    I see areas with nj dep signs and then yellow signs saying bear hunting closed 2018 season. Other spots near me with nj dep signs have nothing marked showing bear hunting closed. So who’s to say one area is huntable and the other isn’t. Or they forgot to post that. Nj doesn’t make it easy sometimes to find out which areas are huntable. Would a call to a CO be the most reliable way to obtain info. I tried mailing the state parks dept to get hunting maps of several state parks near me vs showing up to each once and save me the trips. It was pulling teeth with no real info. I was told to go to each park and ask. I would think the headquarters of the parks dept would have that info 🙄

    Thanks for the information. I applied online for Pike County this morning and got approved in 15 MINUTES!!! I hate NJ. I want to move to Pike County when I retire.

    I guess I will find out after filing a complaint w DEP. If a Twp bought land w green acres funds and the contract doesn’t specifically prohibit hunting…I don’t think they can put up no hunting signs.
