  2. Wow...thanks for all the comments guys. I didn't know the store, or at least I don't remember it, but it must have been a hell of a place. Reading about all your memories with dates and names makes me wonder why I can't remember what I had for breakfast. Someone said they wish the "younger generation" would have seen the place. Nothing else like it. So True !!
  3. When I lived in Arizona I found half a house cat buried in my front yard under rocks, Bobcat kill. I would see them all the time on the golf course's.
  4. Passed by eyewitness news vans around 4:15
  5. That's Joe Caruso, sitting in the back.....he was the owner of "4 Seasons Archery" on Kennedy Blvd. in North Bergen. It was a few blocks from my house and spent many, many hours there in my younger days playing pinball in the front of the shop and then started shooting there several times a week when I was old enough to hunt. The stories and stuff that went on in that shop were just amazing. I spent every day there during the bow season when it used to be a check in station. Great times !

  7. I think their is more to this story, Were you doing the no pants dance and the garter belt snapped ?
  8. Lol those dogs did not live in Sparta. The were secondary canines.
  9. It's all I can do is laugh.. my back is killing me LOL ====== "You know, I think it's better without this big wallet... It's more comfortable.. It DOESN'T MATTER if its more comfortable.. it's WRONG!" ... "My back is killing me. Of course. Because of that wallet. You got a filing cabinet under half of your *ss." ... My back is a little tweaked. Because of your giant wallet. Just get rid of it! NEVER! It is a part of me!
  10. No wonder why north jersey poults don’t stand a chance … https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6jm0QauGmu/?igsh=MTBzYm9tMmo2bGt5aA==
  11. Back when Stewart State Forest in New York had a DEC Check Station and checked the game of all who were leaving,I asked in mid October one Year to the DEC Man in the Checking Station-- How many Turkeys were killed so far? 39 was the answer! On less then 7,000 Aces. Some were killed by Fall Turkey Hunters of course-- but the vast majority were killed by Pheasant Hunters who had really good Dogs. And that Fall Season had another 4 weeks to go. The final number must have exceeded 50 easy. Thought,I would share as that Check Station is long gone now. I remember driving out and some guys would be caught with 3 or more Pheasants when the daily limit was 2 Pheasants.
  12. Nothing on my camera or near my home. Friend in Knowlton had one in his yard yesterday
  13. Welcome to the site Bergen! You are on the right path, keep at it. I am 100% self taught myself, so my advice would be: 1. We learn from our mistakes, so get out there and make lots of them. Every trip into the woods is a learning experience. 2. The best way to find a "mentor" is to rub shoulders with experienced hunters. Posting here is a great start, and joining hunting organizations and going to get-togethers will put you in contact with like minded locals. Most of the guys that I hunt with today are guys that I met through this site. Best of luck and enjoy the process.
  14. That's because musky love to eat goslings!
  15. Oh sure, the guy with the gimpy back makes joke!
  16. I just passed 2 news trucks where the dog was killed, I guess it'll be on the televisions. We've had multiple dogs killed by us and it was never news worthy.
  17. There is such a thing as an aggressive black bear. They are not all the same and have a docile nature. Animals are not all cookie cutter.
