Best Archery Shop In North Jersey?

Hi all!

I am going to be ordering a Mathews VXR soon.  Looking for opinions on the best archery shop in NNJ?  I am mostly looking for the shop that can tune the bow the best, but i'd like to hear all opinions on anything related to previous shop experiences.

Targeteers in Lodi for magnetic north.  Might have to cut through the attitudes, but Rob makes custom strings and they do a good tuning.  Been 5-6 years since I was there though.  Simon Peter in Andover if you're talking true north

Been going to Targeteers in Saddle Brook since the early 80s.....I grew up one mile from them, I now live over one hour away and if need be I use them for all my archery needs. I heard all the negative stuff about them, but I have never saw it myself. I've seen customers get pissed off for waiting cause it's near opening day and they want work done quickly while the staff is busy with others . I always say go early in the year as I do and I always deal with Robert the owner. They are one of the biggest Mathews Dealers around

If I had to pick another shop I would pick Simon Peters.....

In my opinion no bow shop comes close to Garden State Bow & Reel. The bows are all paper tuned and the timing is checked on every bow. I have heard complaints that they are not overly friendly. However, a perfectly tuned bow is the most important thing to me. I know each time I leave there, my bow is shooting awesome.

Garden State Bow and Reel is the real deal. All of my bows go there. Hands down the best bow shop around. Meticulous work. 

They are friendly as long as you don’t act like a jerk. They are busy, and I have willingly and patiently waited to be helped. They spend time with their customers, wait your turn and you’ll get the attention you deserve.
