April 1st catch & release trout opener...    22-38 mph NW winds,  low in the mid-20's and high of 42.  

Are 10-11" finless rainbows really worth it?

No I have no interest In fishing for little pickles. I would rather spend my time lake trout fishing. Plus they taste better then the stocked fish.

I took the day off . I’m going to try and break 100 fish by days close .

‘with hopefully half of them on the long rod .

my hands get way to cold way to easy - I will try for first shad tomorrow after work (in the rain - but it will be in low 60's).

i prefer to wait a couple weeks after it opens. let the bridge fishermen have their fun, then ill go out after the bigger crowds left. my favorite trout season is from oct-march.

Been out a few times in tca.  Seen 1 other person fishing.  At of hold overs. And a few finless.

I haven't fished a Spring opening day in years. I'll go the day after and early mornings when possible before work starts up. It's not worth the crowd and boaters being within casting distance of the shore fishers and the other bs.

No.  I'll only fish for trout to eat them.  Not fun or relaxing for me.  Just gets me aggravated most of the time
