Depends I haven't hunted tgat gard as nothing steady but I've been out.

Definitely Easier pattering bucks but I can’t stand the EAB. Nothing wrong with taking a doe or two but I want to do it at my pleasure. Starting to get cooler in the mornings I see mor movement. I’m gonna start soon

I have never hunted the early season....but seeing all these huge bucks taken,  I am thinking about it more each year.  But I will hold out until October.  I have a kayak trip booked to Mexico , October 14 to the 22nd,   so I may not be to picky !!  LOL

I hate the early season...too hot & ticks galore. Hate sweating while in stand. I went a few times in the past and always regretted it. No deer (big or small) will get me hunting in early season. I will go at the end of October.

I never cared for heat and bugs, but early season is a good time to shoot a buck, and I feels nice to have the pressure off for a while hahaha

Always go early season except on the hotter days (80 or above).

I never hunt the early season, to much work dragging a doe in the heat and getting it cut up before it goes bad in the heat and generally it is just to uncomfortable hunting in the heat. I always wait for October and some how I usually manage to come home with a Buck.
