Wow, was on it fast!  Crazy, too bad you couldn't get a shot at it!

Have a feeling there might be some traps laid out in trapping season!

Agree 100%. If it's not safe to shoot, then why risk it. You did the right thing by not taking an unsafe shot.

It used to say any open deer season and it also ised to specify it was ok during early fall bow

Crazy... so rather than increase the chance for a larger coyote harvest, the division actually DECREASED it ?? Because, you know, we don't have enough yotes... 

I see in this year's digest that, yeah, no yotes can be taken before Sept 30 (page 57)

Doesn't matter what it used to say, it only matters what the regulation is now for a correct answer so no one gets in a jam from inaccurate information.

The state doesn't want the predators taken out they are talking out more deer then we are . That why they added the bait regs in so we can't  shot them when deer hunting.  Shot all the deer you want but not the predators keeps no hunting public happy. Till there to many then they will do something just look at bear hunt and no bait bs.

State needs to wake up and open the season year round like everywhere else... Ridiculous even when the season "opens" in October we can't really be effective until January when the "special" season opens and we can use a rifle...

I asked a warden that a few years back .

he said it was an after thought ,the rule hadn’t been changed to allow shooting them during the early season
