Had to go back a do some more fluking.  Was never a crazy bite but picked away. Took a good  friend of mine  and we took our limit  and released another one just under 20". Lots of fun and lucked out with the thunder storms.

I only keep my 3 and release the others cause I love eating them. All the years and thousands of fluke I have caught I only got one with a tag and you could not even read it cause it was back by the tail and the sand wore the numbers off. And it was a short. 

I don't just kill fish cause they might die like you said you do. One thing is for sure they will not live to be caught another day with you. Why don't you tag the freshwater fish and release them and then see how many just die or caught again?

Why does it matter to you if he is a catch and release fishermen or if he eats them? Am I missing something?
