    any thoughts on pex tubing

3/4 to your manifolds, 3/4 to your water heater and 1/2 supply lines to your fixtures unless the fixture requires 3/4. The dishwasher can tee off the hot line at the sink. Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk

    any thoughts on pex tubing

Been using pex pretty extensively for about the past 10 to 12 years. Sure I would rather use copper but if you want to compete you have to use pex. I've used allot of different systems over the years before settling with uponor (formerly wirsbo) Which imo is the best system. Uponor doesn't use crimp rings. It uses plastic expansion rings. Then the ring and pipe are expanded and the fittings are inserted. There have been some issues with the crimp rings breaking not so much the crush type (they have their own installation issues) but the stainless pinch rings seem to be a problem at times. Another advantage to uponor is the fittings are pretty close to nominal pipe size. As where in crimp systems the fittings are one pipe size smaller. The draw back to uponor from a home owner stand point would be the investment into tool. Which is rather pricey Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk

    Allaire or Turkey swamp??

Your not going to get away from mountain bikes or trails in allaire. They're everywhere. Lol. Plenty of hunters also. I would go with turkey swamp. Did check out that spot I pointed out to you? The area your looking at is the northern boundary of the pines. Where they are transitioning into hardwoods. Don't let it fool you. It produces some nice deer. Have you checked out Assunpink? Hot water heater help

In my opinion. You would be better off getting rid of that after market vent and going with a standard power vent water heater. I know they're pticey. I have found those after market vents to be a real pita. Especially if your in an area prone to power failures. Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk

    Tried some scouting today

That's a tough area. Not a whole lot birds there and the ones that are seem to cover allot of area. Your going to have miles on your feet to find a bird there. Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk
  14. That should be fine. But like heavyopp said an overflow tee at the downspout termination would be better. Also the humidifier pump has a check valve on it and so should the sump pump. So that would prevent backflow into those two pumps. Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk
