09/12/20 Opening Day Checkin

Deer down, pics to follow in a little bit. 1 more for team 1! Ok every time I try to post a picture my phone drops out of the site trying to figure out what is going on. Ok my phone has issues so used my wife’s phone! About 20 yard shot quartering away, top of left lung and out the brisket. 40 yard dash & done.

Congrats loon and bacon!

My son got his doe this morning, and saw 2 nice bucks this evening.  A 3rd buck that was smaller passed him up at 15yds while he was stalking the other two.

Saw about 15 deer milling around.  Nothing in range until after dark when 5-6 made their way directly under my stand.  It was so dark I couldn't even tell what they were.  Then something spooked them after a few minutes...it was a family of 3 raccoons.   Day 1 in the books.  Congrats again to all the successful hunters

Saw over 40 deer today shot 3 doe now time to wait on a gd buck

Got her around 5:40. Dry doe by herself.

Got it done this evening on a lone doe, 24 yard shot. I saw 9 deer today and 2 coyotes.  The interesting part is I double lunged here but no blood trail. She ran about 80 yards and piled up. She was full of blood inside the chest cavity. I was using thorn rift broadheads
