my best advice - 

1) learn from every experience and never stop learning and never think you know it all (because you don't / can't)

2) enjoy yourself. If it starts stressing you out or makes you unhappy   - you are doing it for the wrong reasons

Being in my stand is true therapy. I love it more as I get older

Hunt the spots that everybody drives by. I have shot deer watching people mowing their lawns and shot some big bucks doing it. Glad that I shot the one before the guy was done mowing. I needed help getting the buck into my truck.
