Over the years ! Man do I feel old , my son 20 years ago with my biggest buck and one of my first bucks from

Flat Brook Roy. Great topic to bring back memories !

Did have a BB laying in my blind when I got there in the afternoon.  It jumped out but didn't know what spooked it.  It circled one way and I circled to keep the blind between us until it walked away and I got in.  It didn't go far and gave me a shot opportunity with the camera

 

I picked a pile of blowdowns once that had been used by bear.  Weeds were all packed down inside it.  What were the chances of them bedding in the same place again?   Pretty good.  A sow walked into the blind 5' from me with 3 cubs behind her.  Glad she decided to leave me the spot.  Didn't get a pic though.  

Few other bear encounters came close.  Got a pic of one when I was sitting under a bush on a bear trail and had a cub about to take the trail.  Had to spook it without alarming the sow
