The rabbit is still banging the base drum in mine.  Not even a year old yet.  The old diesel was always a concern in this weather.

Good advice archer. With these cold temps recently, I need to pick up a new battery tomorrow. When I left for work this morning I had a portable jump starter with me. Worth picking one up. Small, yet powerful when needed....Attached a link below for the Halo..My kids each have one in their cars as well....

Great idea. I have Roadside Assistance so getting a jump is not a problem except for the waiting. It's good to have one of these in your vehicle in the event it goes dead off road and not easily accessible to other vehicles.  Not to mention other benefits.

I guess high school teaches everything but common sense. My son left his interior and headlights on last night. Needless to say DEAD. Excellent fiscal lesson given a battery should run him about $100.

I always keep a power pack in my truck. Charges my phone. Jumps my truck battery. Has a flash light. And it's made me $60 so far. Because when others need a jump I charge 20 dollars to jump their battery

I have a similar one. They are great very portable and easy to use.

Once I jump the battery with Roadside Assistance I will take it into repair shop and get battery tested.

Thank you very much!  I have a portable one and it’s running the house and heat.  A crew is working on the wires and they say power should be on by 130.
