Another 100 plus fluke day

Caught 102 yesterday for 3 of us and went back today and Caught 113 fluke for 2 of us. We kept 5, one slot fish short of a limit.  Also released 3 fish over 18" and one being 23".  Great day again fishing with my uncle. Lots of fun on the 4 foot UL.

 He has been fishing a lot longer than I have been alive  and has caught  just about everything.  My dad and him taught me a lot

Once I get my crab boat out of the shop I may fool around in the river some after work in it .

right tackle used it’s all fun .

 

what weight bucktails are you using in the river ? 

Pretty sure I still have a box or 3/4 and 1 oz somewhere from when I used to fish my old green boat

Mostly 1oz or less

My son and I caught a dozen last week in the SR no where close to your number

Amazing! Two days in a row of 100+ fish. I use to like fishing SR for fluke but never caught anything close to that number.

Yeah he is still hanging in there in his upper 70s. Has stage 4 cancer and also had a heart attack recently.  Had 3 Stents put in. He just loves to get out and fish. He can't do anything else with his health.
