I'll have a .300 wsm and carrying a .45 on my side . 

 

But then again I'll be in Maine for black bear.. when I get back though I still won't be ready for compound due to a work injury , so I'll be using crossbow until that heals up . Good luck next weekend everyone , be safe !

I don’t wanna kill many doe at my one spot. So if I were going on opening day I’d take my longbow bc I wouldn’t actual hit one. If I wanted one I’d take the Hoyt

Also, the forecast in Asbury for Saturday looks great - max 70F.

Opening deer when it is too warm almost always gives me the semi-heaves.

Looking forward to this and more venison brats from Tom the butcher.

Picture Wily Coyote already sitting down with his napkin on and holding his knife and fork while drooling and you will have just a little idea of how much I am looking forward to next Saturday morning.
