Flat Calm Seas limit

Took my uncle out yesterday fluking. The day started out flat calm out but the current gave a decent drift. We caught fluke right away with Tom of shorts. Lot of seabass too. We boxed our limit by 10am, played a little catch and release for a bit. Releasing some over 20”. We looked around for some bigger seabass and want to find a couple around 15 but never did. released a bunch that were legal. Also caught a nice triggerfish on my UL with 6lb braid. That was fun and he did some running. Only had the one and kept him in the livewell. Decided to release it back inside SharkRiver. Biggest fluke was 22”

It was a great day out there. Good job Johnny. I could not get those last two slots to save my life but two of us caught at least 100 fluke and 30 sea bass. We did keep two biggest sea bass. When very first drop yielded a 24” fluke figured boat limit was foregone conclusion. I never caught so many 16.5” fluke in my life.  Bonus was seeing dolphins at tip of hook then humpbacks breaching on bunker all day long
