Nighthawk
Had a slow but epic day in the Wilmington Canyon. This has been an outstanding year offshore fishing so far. Today’s trip was slow but had a 500 pound class Blue Marlin make an appearance. I watched him poke his head out in slow motion and swipe the flatline twice before inhaling the bait. He dumped a 30 international at full drag like it was in free spool. Had another boat 75 yards away hook up at the same time and both fish put on a spectacular aerial show. They were too close for comfort but it was awesome watching them tail dancing together. Had him at the back of the boat several times only to watch him dump the reel like it was in free spool. After close to 2 hours we finally leadered him and he happily swam away. Does not get any better then this!! bushden
Awesome !! HONOR THE FALLENhttps://thefallen.militarytimes.com/ Over the years the US has sent many of its fine young men & women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return, is enough to bury those that did not return. COLIN POWELL
