If this was your boat would you hook the safety chain on when you pulled it out? I watched the guy hook it up, he yelled to his buddy in the truck "All good... go."  I told the guy on the trailer that he didn't attach the safety chain and he said "Its fine." 

I will never trust just a strap or a cable. I saw a couple boats laying on a ramp because of no safety cable and it is ugly.

Your probably right, but why not take the 15 seconds to attach the safety strap. It’s just hanging there anyway. A track hoe on a deck over isn’t going anywhere either but I’d always strap one down. Maybe I’m just getting old and careful lol.

I had a strap break last year. Fortunately, I had the safety chain attached. I would of be screwed if I didn't.

I see this boat thinking this guy is overcompensating for something. Very common down south even on small bass boats 

btw chain should go on Before he even started up the ramp.

I run an extra strap over my canoe in the back of my truck for Christ sake. If that was my boat, I would have Jose’ make sure it’s right!
