Yeah, I’m pretty tired of the weather too (and weather people’s inability to forecast properly). That said it could be worse and if this continues it could be snow in a couple of months.

The leaves on the trees use to be on the ground by Halloween when I was a kid.  The leaves are still greener then ever around my way.  Global warming blows.  I want the seasons  back.

Mine never went dry, but others did that I know.  I have not heard of any problems with their drinking water.

Watching the news Sussex county is going to get 2” of rain on Saturday on top of all the other rain I don’t think it’s going to dry up till next summer

I like 2 seasons,  Fall and Winter.  Fall weather starts Friday,  high 58 and sunny.  Next week over night low in the low 40s in my zone 8 world. Hang on, it's coming!

I can't stand this weather. We had those 3 or 4 nice days a week and a half ago and I got so excited thinking we were actually gonna have a fall for once. Nope! Halloween is around the corner and im sweating bullets and getting eaten alive by skeeters

Try running a dirt race track with this shot weather. We had 10 Saturday’s this summer that it either rained or was so wet from rain all week that i couldn’t get on the track to open it up to let it dry. Funny, the mortgage company doesn’t give a rats ass about the weather....

You read my mind. The weather is just lousy in many ways. Heat, humidity. When we get a cold snap, the leaves are going to come down big time.

Thursday night begins our first real shot at fall weather and my guess is that the wet summer pattern will finally break for good.  You all know how much I said we needed rain and I will stick to that, but we are now in great shape with groundwater and it's time to move on to cooler, dryer weather.

This was the very first year in all my years that I was unable to wade fish the West Branch.  I did float her a few times, but not a single day when I could don my waders and step into a river under 750 cfs.  That's unbelievable!  The Hale Eddy USGS gauge today is at 2,050 cfs. Normal for today is 426 cfs.  Safe wading is below 1,000 cfs and better under 750 cfs.
