Bearded lady

Been having a bearded hen in the yard for as many years.  2 other hens with 6 young poults been around lately.  Last year the bearded hen and another hen had 9 poults with them.  Saw the bearded hen this year with no poults.  Haven't seen her recently.  Could she be sitting on a nest again if she lost her first clutch?

I would like to think it's the same hen. But there's a good chance it's not.

Biologists estimate about 10% of hens are bearded.

Some states report as low as 3% and other as high as 20%

New Jersey is around 10 or more.

Last year during the Saturday of 6 day, I had a group of 12 hens and 7 month old poults around my blind. 5 of the hens were bearded.
