Jigging biscuits

Headed out with Rob, Rocky, Mike, and Brandon to jig for sea bass .

was marking very few fish , but working good structure we had a constant bite all morning .

keeping only fish above 13 1/2” we had our 5 man limit boxed  up at 11 am .

highlight of the day was Rocky’s monkfish .

also Brandon had a big striper almost steal a keeper sea bass right at the boat , nipped at the fish as he was lifting it .

nice easy day with lots of great fish for the table .

got to try a new Battle 3 combo today . Sweet parabolic bend was nice for working the jig and fun fighting these lighter fish .

might be a good fit for fluke jigging lighter ball jigs this summer .

Very cool and great dinner there! I was wondering about the battle 3 i use the conflicts more than the regular  battles and heard they are like a perfect cross between the regular battle and a conflict. If that's true i will buy a couple for the delaware stripers . Thanks just figure i get your thoughts on the reel.

I have used all three versions now .

‘all have worked really well .

wasn’t casting these today as just straight dropping  off the boat .

but fought fish well in over 100’ of water without a hiccup .

going to try it on  stripers this week and see how well it works out .
