I enjoyed hunting with bone collector and his father last year during our permit hunt that was fun and I enjoyed it with my family when they hunted now it's kinda boring I enjoy the bow and slamming striped bass and blues and bonita more

If the weather is good then I will take my grandfather's 1100. It is in pristine shape and he babied the gun so I do the same out of respect. If the weather is bad then I will take my Mossberg 500. That gun has seen wind, rain, snow, mud, been used to push my way through the brush, and anything else I have put it through in the last 28 years and still goes bang every time.

I may take the Mossberg 500 out for a day or two.  Rifled barrel.  Steel sights.  Lethal out to as far as I'd want to shoot a deer in NJ anyway.  No need for a scope in these parts.  Sit closer to where the deer are fellas.

I'm planning to loan my Remington 870 with Nikon scope to my business partner who will be out from Montana while I use my muzzleloader this year.  But normally I would be using my slug gun and shooting Hornady SSTs.

This will be the first year for my new savage 220, topped with a Vortek 3-9 X 40 scope, and shooting 2-3/4' accutips. I have been using my 50 cal. muzzleloader during the last ten six-day seasons.
