Mono to braid knots

I was on the fence about starting this thread because people seem to take knots personal.   So what’s the hot knot for 40lb  floro carbon to 30lb  braid?

I spent most of my money on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.

If somebody even utters the name of any other knot than that of the Double Uni Knot, I'm going to pull my hair out, tear my garments, and start calling people names!!!

Barrel swivel.  Will not fail, easy and quick to tie to, and gives you a handle to grab onto to slide your fish up onto the beach.

They are fine until bluefish show up..  even the flat black ones I've had blue fish bite off at the barrel

Lighter braids I tie either a braid knot or an Alberto .

everything heavier I fish Oceanside gets a PR knot.

just about any knot tied will not break  fighting a fish .

but fishing the sticky stuff trying to break snags free they ALL break at the braid/mono connection except the PR.

and I’m not retying a top shot ten times a day .

IT does take some getting used to using the bobbin , but after you are used to it tying a PR is quick .
