The mrs and I did not draw a archery tag this year. Kinda strange being the first time in about 20 years not heading to the Midwest to hunt whitetail. Instead I am leaving for Maine on Saturday to visit my Mother and rifle hunt up there for the first time in about 25 years.

Set  in the very north side of the farm doe to south winds…Not the best location here but it’s the rut and Kansas anything can happen…

I pulled the camera card here to find 1/2 the photos were corrupted.

No big deal… since they are all from last year.

I wasn’t able to make a trip in the spring to set up…

I went though pics for a little bit but time to start paying attention…

The blue dot is where I’m at this evening…

 

This buck I have lots of history with I passed him several times 2 years ago and last year I would have shot him but it didn’t work out I zigged and he zagged..

Id sit one stand and he would show up at a different one… Hopefully he’s still alive I wanna see if he blew up
