5/2/23- Killed a Heavy Jake in the Wetlands/Hardwoods Fringe.  Gobbler was coming in to the Yelps of the Uncle Dickie Box. Hen Flew down to him and took him away..

  2 Jakes  came in through a wet Swamp to my Calling next and,I took the lead Jake. He thrashed in the water and lost feathers. On the board! NY Bird.

Cynthia was a 1/2 mile off. No Gobbling in her area. I texted her and we walked back to my area.

   I had a Mature Tom Gobbling to the Uncle Dickie Box. I set up way behind her to get him to come on. Narrow Slough . He would not flap over. Tomorrow  we get there early . Hopefully She can get him.
