Father stepson memories in the turkey woods

Little late posting because the site was being updated, 

Monday morning started off silent on the roost but by 7 he was gobbling but not very good, he came in silent but the boy said there was too much twigs in the way so he let him walk, Tuesday started out the same just this time we sat up on the other side of him and of course he went where we were on Monday, he wasn’t gobbling very much so I tried shutting up for a while, after 15 minutes he opened up double and triple gobbling, I gave him a couple purrs and I could hear him spitting, told the boy to get ready and he told me I would have to shoot, well I lied and told him I couldn’t and I grabbed his barrel and pulled it in front of me and said get ready, few seconds later he was in full strut gobbling less than 20 yds, the rest is history, blessed I get to share these moments with him.

Not for turkey just family friends where I grew up hunting, they do guide for pheasant and chucker though
