What boxes do you still hope to check this season?

You are setting the bar too high. Just start with two double d blondes and see if you survive. Worry about the slim waste later.

I would like to see a deer it's been a tuff year. Not a lot of time with new house and weather has not been helping . Need a few for the freezer.  Going to move my blind to a new spot I found during 6 day and scout out new spot get ready for next year.

Checked a box earlier this year when I got my first wood ducks.  Might try to get a couple more ducks and I have a few bucks that so far are smarter than me.  my favorite hunting saying "they have to be right every time, but I only need to be right once."  We'll see if I get it right once.

There are still 3 weeks left in the Virginia late fall turkey season (in many counties). Weather permitting, I would like to get my pup down a couple times & see if we can find a group or two that wants to play.

Get out a little more and get a good buck or doe on the ground

I'd like to break the dry spell I've had this season.  Of course, that would require getting out enough to increase my chances, so I'll settle for getting out a few more times!

after having my best fall bow season ever- hard to need to check any more boxes to be honest.  I really am adamant about 2 bucks max, per calendar year so I am not going to buck hunt. If anything will set out to take one more doe and donate it to a venison dinner..  but that would be all and not likely to happen due to time constraints.

Trying to stick to my goals of shooting a buck that is bigger then my 8 last year which puts me in the 3.5 years old + category most likely. But I know I will reach a point by mid January that I will start thinking, if this guy made it this long and he will be a beauty next year.

The most important box for me was getting my son out and harvesting his first deer and I was fortunate enough to check that box off our third time out in September.
