Big doe and I dont have my recuve... wtf.
I Always have the wrong weapon lol

That would be a bad move if you are after a particular buck - just like stalking through a bedding area is..  Keep it low impact, make the mature buck comfortable, relaxed, un-pressured, and you may be rewarded...   Your bait pile seems about right though... (only hunt it with the right wind)

Nothing spooks deer more than my stank…

Pretty miserable morning.  Way over dressed and had the wrong boots on.  64 degrees in Z51, the only thing swampier than the area around my blind were my feet and a$$ from sweating on the hike in.  May give it another go this afternoon, watch the winds and make a decision around noon.  Good luck 🍀 to all who are out.

I have not seen a good shooter buck since the end of 6 day, lots of small 6 and 1 10 that does not have a point larger than 3 inches (he will be next years shooter)

With the wind and wet conditions stalking can be very rewarding. I've killed alot of deer this way. And besides- I was pushing the thicket towards hammer4reel.. im a team player.

Just got settled in. Been after one for the past 4 days in a row. Yesterday was the first time I’ve seen him but he was about 150 yards out. Used the wind and wet ground to my advantage today, found a nice tree by where I saw him yesterday and can see him and his does bedded down not too far off. Hoping he does exactly what he did yesterday.
