He was on patrol...3rd rut.  Went out today after shaking off the cobwebs from last night.   Saw a medium 6 stroll by around 4, not feeding.  Not much else, 2 flat.

Didn't get out today. Battery issues. Will be heading out in the morning just to see how that might shake out. The main mission is to gather a tree stand I am going to relocate.

Out today in zone 50 from 2PM till dark...lots of wind.  The area I hunt was flooded more than usual.   Deer have been around; just need the conditions.

for sure, flooding was evident in Z17. Saw 9 flat heads in a new spot.

Sat yesterday afternoon.

Had a good sit. Public Land.

Saw 15 deer,  1 pretty nice buck that was pushing around 2 doe 100yds out.

Had a group of 3 doe come in 20yd shot on this one double lunged. she went 70yds and piled up.

For me it’s a big accomplishment because it’s the first spot hunting I found on my own, baited and got a deer. I’m learning!!
