Awesome congratulations, I never realized how expensive it is to mount a velvet buck but you don’t get to shoot a big velvet buck to often.

When my bolt struck the deer it immediately knocked him to the ground. At first I thought I had made a spine shot but though the arrow struck him high in the back it took out his lungs. He  expired very quickly with no follow-up shot needed. I was 15 feet up in a ladder stand and the buck was close to 30-yads out when shot.
