Lake House Suggestions

My better half and I are still working from home so we are thinking we should rent a summer home on a lake for a week or two this summer so we can work from there and enjoy the evenings. 

Doesnt matter where, Catskills, Adirondacks, New Hampshire, Vermont etc.   Any ideas to help me narrow it down?

Make sure it has good internet if you plan on working from home. My buddies homes in the Adirondacks have no cell service and crappy land line and internet. Things I like, but might suck for working from home lol.

Always liked Lake George.

I love Lake George. My favorite place in the world.   Beautiful lake with  a lot to do in the area including amusement parks, outlet shopping, restaurants, etc.  I’ve got a place off water in the northern basin.  Not as much to do up there but a lot quieter and less crowded.

Maybe the finger lakes?  Not sure about rentals up there but beautifully area and lots to do in the area too.

Deep creek in western Maryland is amazing. Huge lake, tons of rentals on with private docks, great boat rentals, restaurants etc. It’s not crazy crowded either like lake George gets in the summer r

And if you get tired of the salt water,  you can always hit some of the kettle ponds for fresh water.
