Your pic is a peregrine falcon. The bird that was in question is a Cooper's Hawk.  And that is for damn sure.

TaxeyTitan...if you look at the plumage they are clearly different.  Also head shape and markings differ. 3rd clue which LittleM already mentioned...squirrel caught in yard. Falcons are aerial hunters.
