So i decided that if I was going to carry while fishing some of the trout streams in PA , where there happen to be bears out the butthole , i might as well pretend that im in Alaska surrounded by grizzleys. Saw this beauty the other day at my local shop and just couldn’t resist !

Only when im in the woods… I’m terrified of bears. Had too many close encounters that could have gone wrong.

Also helpful for any trout tossing themselves around in your net too much.

It may sound strange , but i wrestled a 450 lb bear when i was in college. Long story ….lots of alcohol …but point is, i wrestled and played hockey in high school , rugby for seton hall, and had more than a few bar altercations while i was working in a jersey shore bar ( where I met the bear ), and nothing I’ve ever encountered was as strong as that bear!!!! It threw 200-300 pound guys around like we were rag dolls ! 

One hit with its paw knocked me off my feet and about 2 foot from where i was standing….never stood a chance.

I must say...I am cynical. Thought your story was a tall tale. As we always say, didn't happen without pictures. True story!!

I definitely would have worn my loincloth while wrestling that bear.
