Grey foxes

When I was a kid and my dad would take hunting I would see tons of grey fox’s . Never saw a red fox. I have not seen a grey in at least 30 yrs. I’ve seen them dead on the road a couple of times but not alive while hunting. I see tons of reds  now.

Got a few on cams I have in cedar swamps. Strictly nocturnal.

Had one here by the house not long ago.  Don't see them often.

When I saw them we were hunting in the woods right off a cedar swamp in atsion. Mostly as soon as the sun came up. I never saw a red only greys. I have a full body mount of a red I killed at 80 yrds with buckshot in deptford. I couldn’t believe it , I rolled him at 80 yrds!

Seen my share of gray foxes up at my property in PA  never here in jersey… plenty of red Fox here though.

I haven't seen a gray in years. Inundated with Reds though.

Haven't seen a Gray in over 30 years. Like everyone else has said we are overrun with Reds and Coyotes.

Cool looking animal. I have never seen a gray fox, and I am overrun with reds and coyotes (mostly reds).

same here.  I wonder why reds dominate.
