Redemption day! Gobbler down👍🦃🇺🇲

Today was redemption day for my miss yesterday. I got in early and only heard 2 gobbles way off. As the sun came up, what do I hear and see run behind me at 20 yards🤔 Another dang yote! No shot today, and a little later, I hear something big coming. We'll, the bear rut is on, and I see a beautiful sow being followed by a really nice boar, both with nice coats. So, no turkeys, so I decided to head to another spot and 70 yards from the truck I make one last call. Boom! Gobbler, less than 150 yards, so I find a place to set up and put my decoys out. In less than 5 minutes, this great gobbler comes out of the woods into the field with a jake. His head is bright red, and he is in full strut. What a sight! The rest is history, and the walk to the truck was short, but I had more weight than when I walked in, which is how I like it when hunting. I am thankful for being able to do what I love. Today was a good day💪🦃🇺🇲 Now time for yardwork😫🤣
