Raining hard up here right now.  Good luck to anyone out!  I'm waiting until a little later when it stops raining.  Buck I'm after hasn't been in the area until later in the mornings, and pics of him moving again right after dark,  Must be his bedding area.

Sitting up a hill hoping the pheasant hunters push something my way. Have a friend on power line. Saw two others hunting the outskirts of pheasant stocking area also. And there are at least 3 dead pheasant already between the 2 main fields from over night. Good luck to all hunters out this morning

Just got settled in a few minutes ago , rain pretty much stopped here in 8, very warm… Tree branch fell down feet from me when walking in almost gave me a heart attack

Nothing at first light.  just had 2 smaller bucks patrolling. Hoping the big guys walk in daylight today after sitting out last night. Here's one of those 2 bucks patrolling:

Taking Dad out this afternoon.  Some of my cams had lots of activity this morning

A lone doe came by about 10 minutes earlier patrolling not feeding & looking over her shoulder.   I thought that a little unusual & maybe she hot & buck would be behind her.  Nothing & forgot about that but then, 10 minutes later,  here he came right on her trail...9 pt.  the nub on the right side isnt an inch or he would have been my first 10 pt....i guess ill have to keep trying....
