That reminds me.  I saw a huge blue heron with fishing line wrapped all around it's head and down to it's feet.  Line was thru it's mouth and holding it's mouth wide open and it was hopping around in the woods.  I took my rain jacket off to try to throw over it and cut the line off, but it was able to fly off.  Hope he is OK.  Damned line all over the place people don't pick it up.

Otters, mink and great blue heron. Plus ospreys. The Flatbrook has lots of all of those.

What about Snakeheads? My Buddy swears he had them try to take Trout off his stringer a few times.

Many of our stocked streams are non trout waters.  It's strictly a put and take fishery.

I have caught rainbows well below their stocking place for many years. I'd imagine if I could get to these spots today it would be the same.
