It was a real nice day in the ice. We ate like kings. Caught a variety of fish. Good friends. Fresh cold air.

Was out with my boy on Sunday, little slow but we had fun

Awesome two days of ice fishing caught some fish which is plus and ate like kings

Made the 2 hour trip down south on Saturday to try for some trout. There were 2 guys on the pond and said they had 4-5 inches. The ice looked real sketchy and was cracking along the edges when we were walking on. Turned around and went home, not feeling it. Checked a couple of other ponds on our way north, but the ice was no good. Went to our local lake on Sunday, still had 8-9 inches. Fished for 2 hours or so and caught a few. Glad for all who made it out and made it back safe and sound!

7" of ice there is no worry plus we always make the fat guy go first

The panfish were switched “ON” this morning 

Culled through tons of fish today safely releasing the smaller sized and keeping the better sized for a 25 fish limit 

Also released some bass and some pickerel 

9 degrees this morning when I got to the spot but was comfortable in the fliptop shelter with Buddy heater

Biggest perch went just a hair over 12” and got to enjoy my new 13 Fishing Black Betty Freefall Ghost edition combo
