I am a fan of a good hamburger too - my wife makes them really well.  I prefer to use chuck over sirloin.  It goes without saying that it needs to be 20% fat no matter what cut is chopped up but what do other here prefer?  ( happy to open up a new thread and absolutely not trying to jack the OP’s one…)
