Anyone that wants a good NY strip steak should try the one they serve at the copper canyon in Atlantic highlands. I don’t know what they season it with but it’s one of the best steaks you’ll find anywhere. Better the Peter lugers

I am a fan of a good hamburger too - my wife makes them really well.  I prefer to use chuck over sirloin.  It goes without saying that it needs to be 20% fat no matter what cut is chopped up but what do other here prefer?  ( happy to open up a new thread and absolutely not trying to jack the OP’s one…)

Picanha steak (aka butter steak at my butcher) blows the NY strip out of the water, not even in the same league really.
