I had a tree limb hit one of my ladder stands last year and bent the seat area. I cut that tree down so, I shouldn't have any issues with spot hopefully.

That happened to a buddy of mine a couple of years ago.  He was going to hunt one day, didn't and went the next day instead and there was a huge widowmaker on his blind.  Scary stuff.
