Gut Shot Buck

My brother found the 10 point that he's been after on his farm yesterday. Someone gut shot him a few days ago. He's pretty bummed. Sucks!

If it was gut shot and not gutted in a reasonable time, the meat is going to smell like intestines. Maybe you could salvage some meat off the hind legs. Not saying the meat is inedible but certainly not going to be prime table fare.

That sucks no matter what size deer!! Probably took crazy shot because someone saw the rack!! Horrible!!!

My brother buried it with his backhoe.
